Chiken Brochettes with Papaya

For a day when you want a fun meal for the little ones of the house or even for a family gathering, these chicken brochettes with papaya are ideal to delight them with a meal out of the ordinary and that does not kill you in the kitchen because they are very easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 1 small papaya, peeled and seeded
  • 3 chicken cutlets
  • 1 kale, washed and disinfected
  • 2 tomatoes, cut in wedges
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil

Ingredients for the dressing:

  • 4 tablespoons mayonaise
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. To make the dressing, mix all the ingredients until well blended, pour into a container and set aside.
  2. Season the cutlets with salt and pepper to taste and fry them in a pan with oil until they are cooked: remove them, cut them in squares and thread them on wood skewers.
  3. In a large salad bowl place the kale, tomatoes, and the papaya; serve each portion, distribute the skewers and cover with the dressing.

Tips

You can include any other vegetable of your choosing such as squash or chayote.

If mixing sweet and savory flavors is not to your liking, replace the papaya with squash or carrot which are equally very compatible with the chicken.
